Beko Washer Error E02: No Water Intake

Shown when the Beko washer fails to fill with water within the expected time to start the program.

15 estimated minutes Basic Difficulty (DIY)

Common symptoms:

  • The drum stays empty and the program does not advance
  • E02 code flashes on the display
  • The washer beeps repeatedly when starting

Probable causes:

Tap closed or insufficient water pressure 50%

The supply tap is not fully open, or there is a local water supply cut.

Inlet filter clogged with limescale or debris 30%

The mesh filter at the rear inlet hose connection restricts flow as debris accumulates.

Faulty inlet solenoid valve 20%

The valve coil does not respond to the electrical signal, so water cannot pass even with the tap open.

Safe Inspection Checklist (Check off when completed):

1. Check the tap and pressure

Fully open the supply tap and confirm at another point in the house that water pressure is normal.

2. Clean the inlet hose filter

With the tap closed, unscrew the hose from the tap or the washer's rear connection and clean the filter with a brush under running water.

3. Reconnect and test with a short cycle

Reattach the hose firmly, open the tap, and run a short program to check that water enters normally.

When to call a professional technician?

If the washer still will not fill with the tap open and filter clean, the inlet solenoid valve is faulty and needs technician replacement.
