Beko Dishwasher Error E1: No Water Intake
Indicates the Beko dishwasher did not detect enough water during the initial fill and stops the cycle before washing begins.
Common symptoms:
- The cycle does not advance and no water is heard entering
- E1 code on display or flashing lights
- Warning beep after several minutes of waiting
Probable causes:
The under-sink tap is closed, or mains pressure is too low to complete the fill in time.
Limescale or debris buildup in the mesh filter reduces or blocks water flow.
The solenoid valve does not open properly even when powered by the electronic board.
Safe Inspection Checklist (Check off when completed):
Locate the dishwasher's supply tap and make sure it is fully open with normal pressure.
Close the tap, disconnect the hose, and remove the mesh filter at the connection; clean it under running water, removing limescale and debris.
Reconnect the hose, open the tap, and start a short cycle to confirm water enters normally and the error clears.
If E1 persists with normal pressure and a clean filter, the inlet solenoid valve is faulty and needs technician replacement.
