Teka Washer Error E2: No Water Intake
Triggers when the Teka washer fails to fill the drum with water within the expected time when the program starts.
Common symptoms:
- The program does not advance and the drum stays empty
- E2 code on display
- Repeated beeps after starting
Probable causes:
The washer receives no water because the tap is closed or house pressure is too low.
The mesh filter at the rear connection accumulates sediment and restricts flow to the valve.
The valve does not respond to the board's electrical signal and stays closed even with the tap open.
Safe Inspection Checklist (Check off when completed):
Fully open the tap feeding the washer and confirm normal pressure by testing another nearby tap.
Close the tap, disconnect the hose from the rear of the washer, and clean the mesh filter under tap water.
Reattach the hose firmly, open the tap, and start a short program to check whether water enters correctly.
If E2 persists after checking the tap, pressure, and filter, the inlet solenoid valve is faulty and needs technician replacement.
