Fagor Washer Error E03: Water Drain Fault
Indicates the Fagor washer could not drain water from the drum within the expected time, halting the program before spinning.
Common symptoms:
- The program stops with water visible in the drum
- E03 code on display
- The pump makes noise but water level does not drop
Probable causes:
Buttons, coins, or fabric fibers stuck in the bottom filter prevent the pump impeller from turning normally.
The rear hose is too kinked, or the connection point at the wall siphon is obstructed.
The pump's electric motor has burned out or worn down and needs replacement to restore drainage.
Safe Inspection Checklist (Check off when completed):
Unplug the washer and place a low tray and towels next to the filter hatch, usually on the lower front panel.
Open the hatch, unscrew the filter slowly to let water drain out, and remove any trapped objects or lint before screwing it back in.
Check the rear drain hose is not kinked or blocked at the siphon connection before restarting the program.
If the pump keeps making noise without draining water after cleaning the filter and checking the hose, the pump motor is faulty and needs technical replacement.
