Zanussi Dishwasher Error i10: Water Inlet Fault
Appears when the Zanussi dishwasher does not complete the initial water fill within the time allowed by the program.
Common symptoms:
- The cycle stalls right after starting
- "i10" appears on the display
- The usual filling sound is not heard
Probable causes:
The appliance cannot fill the tub because the supply tap is closed or has almost no pressure.
The small filter at the water connection accumulates limescale, drastically reducing available flow.
The solenoid valve does not open properly even with the tap open and correct pressure.
Safe Inspection Checklist (Check off when completed):
Fully open the cold water tap under the sink and check another tap in the house has normal pressure.
Close the tap, disconnect the inlet hose, remove the mesh filter, and clean it with a brush under running water.
Refit the hose firmly tightened, open the tap, and start a short program to confirm the tub fills normally.
If i10 does not clear with the tap open, normal pressure, and a clean filter, the inlet valve is faulty and needs technician replacement.
